Married life

I drew one of these a while back and had the idea for the other but never got around to it until today.  So, the man and I got married about 6 months ago and everyone has been asking "Hows married life?"  I always have trouble answering.  Some things feel the same, some things are different.

Hopes and Dreams

So my husband is paralyzed. He has movement in his arms and hands.  His vital systems work.  He is getting assistance breathing right now but they want to take him off the ventilator soon.  He's pretty excited and really wants a Mountain Dew.

We have been spending most of our time just waiting.  We're getting tired of tv and movies.  I've been drawing some too morbid to post pictures but I also did a couple hopeful ones.  We've been told not to focus too much on the future because it is all so uncertain.  I can still hope, can't I?

Soma...

So, I don't know how to approach this subject on my blog so I'm just going to out and say it.  My husband and I were in a single car roll over accident.  I got a few bumps and bruises but my husband broke his neck.  It's pretty serious but that is not what this blog is about.  I've hanging out in the hospital with family.  I'm pretty darn sore from the accident and got a couple prescriptions from my trip to the ER and found out how strong they are.

A little while later I started giggling and saying "Don't forget to bring a towel."  The moral of this story is that Soma is a heck of a drug.

Honey! I'm home!

Okay, I'm a bad blogger.  It's been months. I've probably lost all of my followers.  Shame on me.

So to update you on all that has happened.  I have made friends with my boyfriend's cat... to a point.

So hopefully I will keep drawing for a while.  I'd been having trouble coming up with ideas that didn't cross into subjects that I promised my mom I would stay away from.  I have a few ideas swimming in my head, including some animations.  I got myself a neat animation program that I have no idea how to use.  I've been working pretty consistently so I don't have a bunch of days with nothing to do so I can figure it out.  I think I'm rambling now so I'll stop now.
